Assignment Type: Direct Hire

Pay: $85,000 - $100,000 annually

Work Schedule: Full-Time | Primarily onsite with regular travel throughout the DMV region. Typical hours are 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, though schedules may vary based on project requirements.

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Our client serves a diverse portfolio of healthcare, commercial, and institutional customers and is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support its growing healthcare project portfolio.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee healthcare-related furniture, renovation, and interior construction projects from planning through completion. This is a highly visible role that combines project leadership, client relationship management, field oversight, and team mentorship.

This is not a traditional office-based Project Manager position. The selected candidate will split their time between the office, project sites, and client locations throughout the DMV area. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects within construction, design, architecture, commercial furniture, or a related industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from kickoff through installation, closeout, and client handoff
  • Coordinate with clients, designers, contractors, installers, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables
  • Conduct site visits, field inspections, and project meetings throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, delays, and challenges
  • Manage project documentation, change orders, and scope modifications
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Provide project updates to leadership and customers
  • Mentor and support junior Project Managers while promoting collaboration and professional development
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and quality throughout project execution

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within construction, design, architecture, commercial furniture, or a related industry
  • Healthcare project experience strongly preferred
  • Experience managing projects involving renovations, interiors, furniture installations, or construction activities
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of an organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the DMV area
