Cybersecurity Engineer
Job Type: 6-Month Contract (Potential pathway to permanent)
Location: 100% Remote (US/North America)
Work Schedule: Flexible (PST or EST hours)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract with the potential to convert to a permanent role. In this position, you will serve as our primary in-house technical resource dedicated to reactive engineering, working alongside our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) provider to keep our infrastructure secure.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage reactive cybersecurity engineering tasks across North America operations.

Partner closely with our MDR provider to handle, resolve, and remediate escalated security alerts.
</li>
<li>
Fill critical engineering coverage gaps across key technical systems and workflows.
</li>

Support long-term security posture improvements while maintaining daily system reliability.

Qualifications &amp; Requirements
<ul>
<li>
Hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering and threat remediation.
</li>
<li>
Experience working alongside third-party MDR or MSSP vendors.
</li>
<li>
Strong troubleshooting skills for handling reactive engineering incidents.
</li>
<li>
Ability to work independently in a 100% remote setting.
</li>
