Physical Security Project Manager

• Location: Sacramento, CA — Onsite
• Contract Duration: 2 years
• Pay Rate: $53/hour

About the Opportunity

Our client Constellation is seeking an experienced Physical Security Project Manager to coordinate and deliver physical security initiatives across power generation facilities and corporate locations.

This role will oversee projects from initial planning and scoping through implementation, testing, turnover, and closeout. The successful candidate will collaborate with operations, IT, security, compliance, procurement, and external vendors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet operational and security requirements.

The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with practical experience supporting physical security systems, access control technologies, and video management platforms.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and manage physical security projects across power generation facilities and corporate locations.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, execution, implementation, testing, turnover, and closeout.
• Establish project timelines, milestones, dependencies, responsibilities, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and coordinate resolutions.
• Prepare project status reports and communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with Operations, IT, Security, Compliance, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate third-party vendors and contractors supporting security system implementations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Support enterprise access control systems, including CCure 9000, through system administration, configuration, or operational coordination.
• Support video management systems such as ExacqVision and coordinate issue resolution with technical teams.
• Use Microsoft Project or comparable project management tools to track schedules, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.
• Ensure project documentation, testing records, and handover materials are complete.

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 4–7 years of relevant project management experience or equivalent experience delivering complex projects.
• Experience coordinating projects involving physical security, electronic security systems, infrastructure, technology, or facilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, dependencies, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Project or comparable project scheduling and tracking tools.
• Ability to work onsite in Sacramento, California, and manage multiple project priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with CCure 9000 access control systems, including administration, configuration, or operational support.
• Experience supporting ExacqVision or comparable video management systems.
