ComResource is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cybersecurity assessments and audits for utility clients.
- Conduct cybersecurity risk analysis and gap assessments.
- Design and deploy cybersecurity solutions based on industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and document cybersecurity policies, procedures, and plans.
- Configure and install cybersecurity tools and systems including firewalls, antivirus, encryption, and authentication.
- Perform vulnerability scanning, review cybersecurity frameworks, and support incident response.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for cybersecurity issues.
- Monitor and report on cybersecurity performance and compliance.
- Train and educate staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
- Research and stay current on emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies.
Essentials:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in the utility sector.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO, and NERC.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and VPN.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients and team members.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
Desired:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GSEC.
