Summary
\n
\n
The Quality Technician will perform inspections and testing, document quality results, identify non-conforming material, and work closely with Production and Quality teams to resolve issues.
\n

Key Activities
\n
\n
- \n
- Inspecting, sampling, testing, and weighing product to ensure they meet specifications.
- Receiving, testing, and releasing raw materials and finished products.
- Identifying non-compliant products and initiating hold procedures.
- Observing production processes and adjusting when necessary to maintain quality.
- Conducting allergen testing and monitoring critical control points (CCPs) daily.
- Performing and documenting pre-operation inspections and routine audits.
- Supporting customer, SQF, third-party, and internal audits.
- Reviewing product labels for accuracy and compliance.
- Upholding all GMP, HACCP, personal hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Pitching in on other QA tasks as assigned.

Preferred Skills
\n
\n

- Comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs., standing, walking, bending, and climbing as needed.
- Ability to navigate between production floor and office tasks.
- Strong communication skills—written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Educations & Experience
\n
\n
- \n
- Experience in a food manufacturing QA role with working knowledge of HACCP and GMPs is preferred.
- AA degree in a science-related field (preferred, not required).
- Basic math skills and a keen eye for detail.
\n
