We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as an Unarmed Security Guard at our retail location. As an Unarmed Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers, employees, and property.

Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a visible presence, deter potential threats, and respond to any security incidents that may occur.

Responsibilities: - Patrol the premises on foot to prevent and detect any signs of unauthorized entry, theft, or vandalism. - Monitor and control access to the retail location, including checking identification of individuals entering the premises. - Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with customers, employees, and visitors. - Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents, such as disturbances, accidents, or medical emergencies, and take appropriate action. - Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and report any security vulnerabilities or safety hazards. - Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services as needed. - Complete detailed written reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken. - Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security. - Stay updated on current security trends, techniques, and best practices. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred but not required. - Valid state-issued unarmed security guard license, or the ability to obtain one. - Strong observational skills and attention to detail. -

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -

Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations. -

Basic computer skills for report writing and communication purposes. -

Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods.

- Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
