Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
On-Call Rotation: Required (overtime opportunities available)

BG Staffing, a premier workforce solutions provider in the multifamily industry, is currently seeking a skilled and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a residential community in Leominster, MA. Position Overview
As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the overall condition, safety, and functionality of the property. From completing service requests to preparing apartment homes for new residents, your work directly contributes to the community’s success and resident satisfaction.
This position offers a consistent weekday schedule along with additional earning potential through an on-call rotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete maintenance work orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare vacant units for move-in, including repairs, inspections, and quality checks
- Troubleshoot and repair systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances
- Perform general maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and minor renovations
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of common areas, mechanical spaces, and grounds
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies
- Adhere to all safety standards, policies, and procedures
- Communicate professionally with residents, coworkers, and property management
Qualifications
- Previous apartment or multifamily maintenance experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)
- Ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Must have basic maintenance tools
- EPA certification is a plus, but not required
