Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Badging in Charlestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, deliver outstanding customer service and communication, and bring our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values to every interaction through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following location policies, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, as work environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disruptions within a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
Observe and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or security-related issues, and assist with directing visitors, employees, and vendors according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
