As a Security Officer Patrol Badging in Charlestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following location policies, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, as work environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disruptions within a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Observe and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or security-related issues, and assist with directing visitors, employees, and vendors according to site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
