Job DescriptionSUMMARYThe Maintenance Worker will perform upkeep tasks such as machinery repairs, facility maintenance and cleaning. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of maintenance work, including plumbing, electrical systems, hydraulic presses and systems, CNC machine repair, injection molding machines and carpentry. The Maintenance Worker responsibilities will include conducting routine inspections, diagnosing faults, malfunctions, and performing repairs. They should be well-organized with strong general repair skills.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair or maintenancePerform regular preventative maintenance to ensure that machinery continues to run smoothly and building systems operate efficientlyCheck control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues and ensure systems are working properlyRepair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenchesDo minor repairs, such as fixing leaky faucets, unclogging drains, or repairing doors and fencesMonitor boiler systems, HVAC, and other building systems to ensure they are functioning properlyOrder supplies needed for cleaning and maintenanceComply with safety regulations and maintain clean and organized work areasCoordinate with a team of workers and other professionals during repairs, renovations or facility expansionsRecord and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.All other duties and responsibilities as assigned or needed. QUALIFICATIONSProven experience as a maintenance worker or other similar positionsBasic knowledge of plumbing, hydraulics and electrical systemsExperience working with tools, including hand and electrical toolsAbility to read technical manuals and drawingsVery good communication and interpersonal skillsPhysical stamina and dexterity EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent4-5 years of experience Experience with plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC.Practical knowledge and skills in maintenance and repairs of buildings, facilities, and equipment.Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues COMMUNICATION SKILLSGood verbal (clear and concise) and written communication skillsAbility to give and receive feedbackActive Listening OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIESAttention to DetailProblem SolverGood Time Management Team PlayerSafety Oriented Good Organizational SkillsFlexible WORK HOURS: Monday to Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm
