Agape Love Childcare Center is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Janitor/Cleaning Specialist to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for our children, families, and staff.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, requires minimal supervision, and understands the importance of proper cleaning and sanitation in a childcare setting.

This position is perfect for someone seeking consistent part-time work with a manageable weekly schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
  
  
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
  
  
• Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, countertops, and high-touch surfaces.
  
  
• Empty trash bins and replace liners.
  
  
• Sanitize classroom furniture, tables, chairs, and designated play areas.
  
  
• Clean interior glass doors, mirrors, and entryways as needed.
  
  
• Restock bathroom supplies, including paper towels, tissue, and soap.
  
  
• Follow childcare sanitation procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
  
  
• Complete an assigned cleaning checklist during each shift.
  
  
• Notify management of maintenance issues or supply shortages.
  
  
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are safely stored away from children.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, commercial cleaning, or housekeeping experience preferred.
  
  
• Experience cleaning childcare centers, schools, or medical facilities is a plus.
  
  
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail.
  
  
• Knowledge of proper cleaning and disinfecting procedures.
  
  
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical cleaning duties.
  
  
• Must successfully complete required background screening for working in a childcare environment.
  
  

Compensation & Schedule

$250 Weekly | 3 Days Per Week

Approximately 6–9 hours weekly.

Specific workdays and hours will be discussed during the interview. Consistency and reliability are essential.
