Job Summary
We are an established tech firm in the DFW area looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. This position will work with our enterprise team to consult, design, implement, and support advanced solutions from top-tier industry vendors.

Core Responsibilities
- Consult, design, implement, and support advanced systems and networking solutions from vendors like VMware, Scale, Microsoft, Nutanix, Azure, Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWALL, and others.
- Architect complex infrastructure deployments for client environments.
- Provide tier-3 escalation support for advanced engineering issues.
- Enforce security policies and framework controls across enterprise systems.
Required Technical Qualifications
- Virtualization & Storage: Advanced working knowledge of virtualization including VMware, Hyperconverged systems, VDI, SANs, clustering, and other network storage systems.
- Networking Architecture: Advanced working knowledge of networking architecture and technologies including TCP/IP, VLANs, wireless networking, routing, switches, firewalls, DNS, VPN, and VoIP (Fortinet, SonicWALL, Cisco, and others).
- Microsoft & Server Infrastructure: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID (enterprise structure, replication, default objects, roles, GPOs, and policies), and Windows Server Technologies (Windows Server, Hyper-V, RDS, SQL, IIS).
- Cloud Environments: Working knowledge and implementation experience with cloud technologies (Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS, Google Cloud/Workspace).
- Security Frameworks: Strong practical knowledge of modern cybersecurity policies and controls.
Experience & Education
- Experience: 8+ years of proven systems architecture, administration, installation, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree required, or equivalent enterprise field experience.
Desired Certifications
- Microsoft Platform Certifications (MCSE, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.)
- VMware Platform Certifications (VCP)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certifications
- Network+, Fortinet (NSE), Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), or equivalent certifications
