Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician II
Location: Dr Hanover Park IL 60133
Duration: 4-Month Contract-to-Hire
Schedule:
Rotating 12-hour shifts
Every other weekend is a 3-day weekend
Shift:
Day: 6:45 AM - 7:00 PM
Night: 6:45 PM - 7:00 AM
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment in a manufacturing environment. This individual will play a critical role in supporting operations through preventative maintenance, equipment rebuilds, troubleshooting, and repair of electro-mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical issues
Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
Troubleshoot inputs/outputs (I/O) and machine control systems
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment
Repair and rebuild manufacturing equipment as needed
Assist with equipment installations, moves, and upgrades
Utilize diagnostic and calibration equipment to identify and resolve issues
Maintain maintenance records and documentation
Required Qualifications
2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience troubleshooting heavy manufacturing equipment
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Experience working with motors, electrical controls, and industrial machinery
Strong understanding of electrical safety and troubleshooting practices
Preventative maintenance experience
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
Highly Preferred Experience
Injection molding experience
Plastics manufacturing experience
Stamping presses and heavy machinery
Servo systems and automation equipment
Electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience
