We need Quality Technicians at all three of our locations.
Burgaflex is looking for responsible Quality Technicians. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable. The goal is to ensure that our products are made of flawless materials and well-functioning equipment.
Skills
Perform random part inspections, verify process capability to customer print specifications. Identify non-conformance.
Perform layered process audits / part checks within area of expertise. Verify operator and process competency.
Fill out reject/scrap tags for non-conforming material. Log pertinent information into company database.
Communicate with the quality leader, shift supervisor, and other leaders as necessary when non-conforming processes and / or product is identified. Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Participate in sorting activities as needed to prevent non-conforming material from escaping a process.
Enforce process instructions.
Assist leaders in approving first piece set-up of the Manufacturing Order (M.O.)
Review all applicable Quality Alerts with the operators on a daily basis
Identify opportunities for improvement throughout the organization. Report or suggest same to quality leader.
Lift up to 50 pounds repetitively when needed.
1. Basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data entry
2. General knowledge of Burgaflex processes
3. Knowledge of part prints and ability to identify key characteristics.
4. Usage of measuring tools, such as but not limited to, calipers, tape measure, protractor, pin gages, process fixtures and assorted measuring tools.
5. Ability and confidence to communicate effectively with leadership and management.
6. Good understanding of manufacturing process flow (internal customer).
7. Following direction of control plans and FMEA
8. Receptive to training
9. Team participation in root cause and problem resolution.
10. Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently
1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
