Our client is seeking a Reliability & Systems Safety Engineer to support reliability and safety analyses across a diverse aerospace and defense product portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to work on critical programs while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

- Active Secret Security Clearance required
\n

\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Develop and maintain reliability and safety analyses, including FMECA, reliability predictions, subsystem hazard analyses, and range safety assessments.
- Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments and Fault Tree Analyses.
- Design and execute reliability test plans and analyze test results.
- Identify and recommend improvements to product reliability and safety.
- Ensure compliance with Reliability and System Safety processes and standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and programs teams to integrate reliability principles throughout the product lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of Reliability and Systems Safety experience.
- Strong technical communication skills.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of directly related experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:
\n
- \n
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Aerospace or defense industry experience.
- Experience developing FMECA/PFMECA analyses.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-882E.
- Formal coursework in Reliability Engineering.
- Experience with or knowledge of solid rocket motor systems.
