Responsibilities:
- Perform general construction tasks including carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, and minor structural repairs.
- Conduct routine building maintenance and corrective repairs as required.
- Install, repair, and maintain building fixtures, doors, walls, ceilings, and related components.
- Support renovation and improvement projects across the facility.
- Read and interpret basic construction drawings, layouts, and specifications.
- Ensure work complies with company standards, OSHA safety regulations, and GMP requirements as applicable.
- Assist with troubleshooting facility-related issues and provide timely solutions.
- Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and external contractors as needed.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
- Document completed work and report findings or required follow-ups.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 18 years or older.
- English and Spanish speaking ability preferred. Technical or trade certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in general construction, building maintenance, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is an asset.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
