Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated Threat Hunter to support enterprise cybersecurity operations in a fast-paced federal environment. The successful candidate will help protect mission-critical systems while collaborating with technical and operational teams.Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify advanced threats using telemetry, develop detections, analyze malware, automate hunting, and improve detection engineering.
- Monitor, analyze, and resolve cybersecurity issues while following established procedures.
- Produce clear technical documentation, reports, and briefings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security posture.
- Support compliance with federal cybersecurity standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years threat hunting/data analysis
- Bachelor's degree; additional 4+ years may substitute when approved.
- CISSP Associate, CCSP, or SSCP plus qualifying CSSP certification.
- Active TS/SCI
- Python/R/SQL scripting, malware analysis, query development, multiple data sources.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting DoD or other federal agencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
