BCTG’s direct client is looking for a Program Manager - IT Data, Analytics, and AI

This Program Manager will coordinate multiple related projects toward a strategic business outcome within our IT Data, Analytics, and AI organization. You will resolve cross project dependencies, chair steering committees, present integrated program health to senior leadership, and own benefits realization — tracking whether delivered outputs produce the intended business value. This position requires systems thinking, executive communication, and the ability to make tradeoff recommendations when projects compete for shared resources. This position will also support and foster the Agile transformation journey by influencing Agile delivery and best practices. An ideal candidate for this role will have Data transformation experience.

Required Skills/Experience

• Coordinate 3+ related projects toward a defined strategic business outcome; continuously validate that the collection of projects still serves the funded business case.

\n

• Resolve cross-project resource conflicts and dependency risks — decide which project gets contested resources based on program value, not first-come-first-served.

\n

• Chair or co-chair the program steering committee; frame executive decisions and present integrated program health to C-suite and senior sponsors.

\n

• Own benefits realization: define KPIs for intended business outcomes, track postdelivery results, and report whether completed project outputs produce measurable value.

\n

• Maintain cross-project dependency views; proactively identify collision points, sequencing conflicts, and shared-milestone risks before they escalate.

\n

• Manage integrated risk aggregation — identify correlated risks (e.g., same vendor dependency across multiple projects = systemic risk) and recommend program-level mitigations.

\n

• Own and manage the Data Program overall budget

\n

• Make tradeoff recommendations to executives when projects compete (i.e. which initiative accelerates, pauses, or changes scope for overall program health.)

\n

• Assess organizational change readiness — ensure the business can absorb the combined change produced by multiple concurrent projects across business units.

\n

• Establish and maintain program governance: decision rights, escalation paths, reporting cadence, and consistent frameworks across all component projects.

\n

• Support and foster client’s Agile transformation journey

\n

Desired Skills/Experience

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.

\n

• 6–12 years of progressive project/program management experience, including 2+ years coordinating multiple concurrent projects with cross-team dependencies.

\n

• 3–5 years of progressive experience with Agile delivery.

\n

• Ability to translate complex, multi-project status updates into concise executive decision briefs, with experience presenting to C-suite leadership.

\n

• Experience managing program-level budgets, including making allocation decisions across multiple initiatives.

\n

Certification:

\n

\n
• PMP (PMI) or MSP Practitioner (AXELOS), or PMP with demonstrated multi-project scope.

\n
