Pay: $22–$23/hr | Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM
Start Date: ASAP | Contract‑to‑Hire Opportunity
BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Maintenance Technician with CPO certification to support an apartment community in Longs, SC (29568). This role is ideal for a technician with strong maintenance experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to maintain both apartment units and community pool facilities.
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders and general maintenance repairs
- Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
- Assist with unit turns and make‑ready tasks
- Maintain pool operations in compliance with CPO standards
- Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and compliance requirements
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and communicate effectively with management
Requirements
- CPO certification required
- Maintenance certification or strong apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Solid troubleshooting and repair skills across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances
- Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and customer‑service abilities
