This position will report to the Director of Quality and act as a Grand Prairie Quality representative.
Work Schedule: M-TH 6:00 – 4:30
Friday: Mandatory OT: 6:00-4:30
Sat: OT as needed on a rotating schedule
Hourly Rate: 22.00 / hr
Responsibilities:
- Ability to self-start and work with little or no supervision.
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other Quality tools.
- Ability to work under tight time constraints and deadlines.
- Must have Microsoft office experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and customer drawings.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with multiple levels of management and production staff.
- Work closely with production to resolve Quality issues.
- Work with the Quality Supervisor /Manager on Corrective Actions, customer issues, non-conforming material, and supplier issues.
Additional experience as a PLUS!
- Experience completing FAI's on time to meet customer requirements
- Previous Quality experience in sheet metal manufacturing.
Additional responsibilities and duties will be at the Director of Quality's discretion.
