Maintenance Worker I (Custodial/General Cleaner)
City of Brownsville – Multimodal Transportation Work location: La Plaza, 755 International Blvd., Brownsville, TX 78520 Pay: $13.76 per hour
The City of Brownsville is seeking a dependable Maintenance Worker I to help keep La Plaza clean, safe, and welcoming for employees and visitors. This is a public-facing role in a busy location with frequent foot traffic.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Clean and maintain bathrooms and office areas.</li>
<li>Help keep the facility clean and presentable throughout the day.</li>
<li>Interact courteously with members of the public.</li>
</ul>
Schedule
Two shifts are available:
<ul>
<li>5:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.</li>
<li>1:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.</li>
</ul>
Each shift includes a one-hour lunch break. All required personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided. Comfortable, appropriate work attire is welcome.
