Day Porter — Part-Time

Location: Flower Mound/ Grapevine/ Lantana
Pay: $17
Schedule: Approximately 33 hours per week Monday - Friday 8am-3:15pm

Job Summary

LaborMAX Staffing is seeking a dependable Day Porter to keep a client’s properties clean, safe, and welcoming during daytime business hours. This position requires traveling between three properties. Candidates must be able to drive to two additional properties during their scheduled workday.

Responsibilities

• Clean entrances, lobbies, hallways, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot-clean floors.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
• Restock soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and other restroom supplies.
• Clean glass doors, counters, fixtures, and frequently touched surfaces.
• Pick up litter around entrances, sidewalks, and designated outdoor areas.
• Respond promptly to spills and cleaning requests.
• Place caution signs around wet floors and report unsafe conditions.
• Report maintenance concerns and low supplies to the supervisor.
• Travel to two additional properties to complete assigned cleaning duties.
• Follow safety instructions for cleaning products, equipment, and protective gear.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or day porter experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation available for travel between properties during the workday.
• Reliable attendance and availability to work approximately 33 hours per week.
• Ability to work independently, manage time across multiple properties, and follow instructions.
• Professional appearance and courteous communication.
• Ability to use cleaning supplies and equipment safely.

Physical Requirements

Work involves standing and walking for extended periods, bending, reaching, pushing cleaning carts, and lifting supplies or trash. Candidates must be able to perform the essential duties, with or without reasonable accommodation. Specific lifting requirements will be provided for the assigned sites.
