Job Summary
\n
We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to support products throughout their lifecycle in a regulated engineering environment. This role will focus on product deployment, configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting, technical documentation, Tier 3 support, and customer escalations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with regulated products and an understanding of FDA, ISO, and IEC requirements, design controls, and product lifecycle documentation.

Responsibilities
\n

- Develop and maintain Service Engineering documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support product deployments, installations, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and manage customer escalations.
- Participate in customer calls and support requirements decomposition.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Lead technical execution and communicate technical risks, issues, dependencies, and solutions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Quality, Service, and other cross-functional teams.
- Support product and service activities within a regulated engineering environment.
- Apply applicable FDA, ISO, and IEC requirements to engineering and service activities.
- Maintain product lifecycle and design-control documentation.
- Use Jira/DevOps tools to support technical and project-related activities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation using Microsoft Excel and Word.

Required Qualifications
\n

- Associate degree or higher.
- 4+ years of relevant technical experience in Service Engineering, R&D, or a regulated engineering environment.
- Experience in Service Engineering or a similar technical engineering role.
- Experience supporting product deployment, configuration, upgrades, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience providing Tier 3 technical support and handling customer escalations.
- Experience working in a regulated engineering or product environment.
- Knowledge of FDA, ISO, and IEC requirements.
- Experience with design controls and product lifecycle documentation.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Jira and/or DevOps tools.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- Ability to participate in customer calls and requirements decomposition.
- Ability to communicate technical risks, issues, and solutions effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

- Medical Device, MedTech, healthcare technology, or life sciences experience.
- Experience with cloud-based products or solutions.
- Experience working in an R&D engineering environment.
- Customer-facing technical support experience.
- Field Service Engineering experience.
- Experience supporting medical imaging, diagnostic, laboratory, or clinical equipment.
- Experience with CAPA, risk management, or change control.
- Experience supporting software and hardware products.
- Experience with 5-CI training.

Work Requirements

- The position requires 100% onsite work in Skaneateles Falls, NY initially.
- Potential for 30–40% remote work later, depending on project deliverables.
