QA Automation Tester (OpenText UFT One) – Connected Vehicle
Cherry Hill, NJ (Hybrid) | Contract
Our client is in need of a hands-on QA Automation Tester. Today they test mostly by hand, from test cases kept in Excel. You'll turn those into automated scripts with OpenText UFT One and VBScript, and help build the team's automation framework.
What you'll do
- Convert manual Excel test cases into data-driven UFT One scripts.
- Build and maintain a reusable automation framework.
- Run regression suites, then report and track defects.
- Partner with developers and manual testers to grow automation coverage.
What you'll need
- 3+ years of hands-on OpenText UFT One (also known as Micro Focus or HP UFT/QTP).
- Strong VBScript skills.
- A track record of converting manual tests to automated ones.
- Experience building automation frameworks.
Big pluses
- Connected Vehicle, Telematics or Infotainment testing. Strong candidates with this background may be considered for remote work.
- Automotive industry experience.
- OpenText ALM/Quality Center or Octane, and Jira.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 12+ months – Preferred Hybrid, may consider remote.
