Job Summary
The East Side Club, a private men-only gay club in New York City, is seeking a reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and discreet environment for our members and guests. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in their work, respects privacy, and is comfortable working in an adult, men-only club setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping
- Clean and sanitize all club areas.
- Monitor, clean, and disinfect restrooms and locker areas throughout shifts
- Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and restock as needed
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal
- Promptly address spills or cleaning needs to maintain a safe environment
- Follow and enforce all health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times while on duty
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cleaner, janitor, or housekeeper preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Professional, respectful, and discreet demeanor
- Comfortable working in a men-only, LGBTQ+ club environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting without compromising quality
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing light lifting
