Geo Owl is seeking an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) at Wright-Patterson AFB. The ISSO will serve as the primary cybersecurity and information assurance professional for a Special Access Program (SAP) environment, ensuring compliance with DoD security requirements and maintaining secure mission operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain cybersecurity compliance for SAP-authorized systems.
  • Support RMF, A&A, continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and POA&M activities.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, including SSPs and accreditation packages.
  • Conduct security reviews, audits, and coordinate remediation efforts.
  • Support incident response, compliance inspections, and security reporting.
  • Coordinate with government security personnel and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Assurance, or related field.
  • MUST HAVE a current TS/SCI DOD Clearance with SAP Eligibility
  • 10+ years of experience supporting cybersecurity, RMF, ISSO, system administration, or information assurance functions in classified environments.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility.
  • Strong knowledge of JSIG, NIST 800-53, ICD 503, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II or III certification (Security+, CISSP, CASP+, CISM, or equivalent).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior ISSO/ISSM experience supporting SAP or SCIF environments.
  • Experience with eMASS, DISS, ACAS/Nessus, and compliance assessment tools.
  • Familiarity with intelligence, NASIC, NSIC, or Space Force mission environments.
