Job Description

Geo Owl is seeking an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) at Wright-Patterson AFB. The ISSO will serve as the primary cybersecurity and information assurance professional for a Special Access Program (SAP) environment, ensuring compliance with DoD security requirements and maintaining secure mission operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain cybersecurity compliance for SAP-authorized systems.
Support RMF, A&A, continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and POA&M activities.
Develop and maintain security documentation, including SSPs and accreditation packages.
Conduct security reviews, audits, and coordinate remediation efforts.
Support incident response, compliance inspections, and security reporting.
Coordinate with government security personnel and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Assurance, or related field.
MUST HAVE a current TS/SCI DOD Clearance with SAP Eligibility
10+ years of experience supporting cybersecurity, RMF, ISSO, system administration, or information assurance functions in classified environments.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility.
Strong knowledge of JSIG, NIST 800-53, ICD 503, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II or III certification (Security+, CISSP, CASP+, CISM, or equivalent).

Preferred Qualifications

Prior ISSO/ISSM experience supporting SAP or SCIF environments.
Experience with eMASS, DISS, ACAS/Nessus, and compliance assessment tools.
Familiarity with intelligence, NASIC, NSIC, or Space Force mission environments.
