All Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift - Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
- 2nd Shift - Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
- 3rd Shift - Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
- Pay: $30.00–$40.00hr DOE
Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume food manufacturing and packaging operation. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production and packaging equipment to ensure maximum equipment reliability and minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, experience working in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled production equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Diagnose equipment failures and restore machinery to production quickly and safely.
- Support facility systems including compressed air, HVAC, water, natural gas, chemical transfer, and utility systems.
- Perform lubrication, inspections, and routine equipment servicing.
- Read electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Complete basic electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance repairs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and communicate maintenance supply needs.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Sanitation teams to maximize equipment uptime.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following GMP, food safety, and company safety standards.
Job Requirements:
- Experience with food manufacturing, packaging equipment, conveyor systems, motors and gearboxes
- PLC troubleshooting, electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, preventive maintenance, and mechanical repair is highly preferred.
- Associate degree, technical degree, or equivalent industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Schedule: All-Shifts Available
