Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This role focuses on maintaining and supporting industrial production equipment, including CNC machines, robotic welding systems, punches, presses, and tube benders. You perform primarily preventive maintenance to keep equipment running reliably, while also responding to reactive maintenance needs to minimize downtime across multiple shifts in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on:
    • CNC machines
    • Robotic welding equipment
    • Presses and punches
    • Tube benders
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
  • Work on and safely repair 480V electrical systems.
  • Maintain and repair hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, hoses, and cylinders.
  • Inspect equipment regularly to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
  • Support and maintain robotic welding systems.
  • Document maintenance work, repairs, and parts used.
  • Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime.
  • Follow maintenance schedules and reliability programs.
  • Use hand tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic tools to identify problems.
  • Follow all safety procedures when working around machinery and electrical equipment.
  • Assist with continuous improvement and equipment reliability projects.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with 480V electrical systems.
  • Strong hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Mechanical maintenance experience with industrial machinery.
  • Experience maintaining:
    • CNC machines
    • Presses and punches
    • Tube benders
    • Robotic welding equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in:
    • Mechanical systems
    • Electrical systems
    • Hydraulic systems
  • Ability to perform preventive and breakdown maintenance.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety practices around high-voltage equipment and moving machinery.
  • Flexible to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience maintaining CNC equipment.
  • Experience with robotic welding systems.
  • Manufacturing or industrial maintenance.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and maintenance documentation.
  • Ability to adapt to changing production needs.

Work Environment

  • Industrial manufacturing facility.
  • Work around:
    • CNC machines
    • Robotic welders
    • Presses
    • Punches
    • Tube benders
  • Exposure to noise, moving machinery, hydraulic systems, and 480V electrical equipment.
  • PPE required at all times.
  • Available shifts:
    • 1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
    • 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
    • 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM
    • Monday through Friday

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Union shop, yearly raises.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Saint Louis,MO.
