Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support software development teams by facilitating Agile practices, removing impediments, and promoting continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Scrum Master experience, a technical background in software development, and a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
\n

- Agile Facilitation: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring ceremonies are productive, collaborative, and time-boxed.
- Team Support: Identify, track, and actively remove technical, organizational, and interpersonal blockers that may impact team progress.
- Product Owner Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Owners to manage and refine the product backlog, ensuring user stories are clearly defined, estimated, prioritized, and ready for upcoming sprints.
- Agile Metrics & Reporting: Track and communicate team velocity, burndown/burnup charts, sprint progress, and other Agile metrics to support planning and provide visibility to stakeholders.
- Team Protection: Shield development teams from external distractions, scope creep, and unplanned interruptions during active sprints.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead retrospectives and help teams identify and implement actionable improvements for future sprints.
- Agile Coaching: Promote Agile principles, Scrum practices, and team accountability while encouraging collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:
\n

- 3+ years of experience working as a dedicated Scrum Master supporting software development teams.
- Prior experience working as a Software Developer or in a technical IT environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience working directly with software development teams, Product Owners, and technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Agile project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, including XL Deploy and XL Release.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, conflict-resolution, and active-listening skills.
- Ability to influence teams and stakeholders without direct authority.
- Experience with customer interaction and working in an IT environment.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts is preferred.

Education & Certifications:
\n

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Active Agile certification highly preferred, such as:
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM I or II)
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
- PMP certification preferred.
