We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support infrastructure automation and cloud engineering initiatives for a leading FMCG organization out of Madison, WI. This Long-term Contract position focuses on building and refining Terraform modules, managing code repositories and deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps, and contributing to scalable cloud solutions across AWS-based environments. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience in infrastructure as code, CI/CD practices, and modern cloud services within a fast-paced technical setting.


Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain reusable Terraform modules to standardize and automate infrastructure provisioning.

• Manage source control workflows and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps to support reliable delivery practices.

• Build and support cloud infrastructure across AWS services, including compute, storage, and serverless components.

• Configure and maintain platform components such as EC2, S3, Lambda, load balancers, and API gateway services.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement container-based deployment strategies and improve environment consistency.

• Apply DevOps best practices to strengthen automation, release efficiency, and operational stability.

• Support integration of cloud data and application services where needed, including tools such as AWS Glue.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and pipeline issues, ensuring dependable performance across development and deployment environments.

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform for infrastructure as code and module development.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for repository management, build processes, and release pipelines.
• Solid working knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, and load balancing solutions.
• Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration concepts, including Kubernetes.
• Experience with automation and configuration tools such as Ansible.
• Understanding of API gateway services and cloud integration patterns.
• Ability to work independently in a contract environment while partnering effectively with technical teams.
