Job Description
The IT Strategy Consultant will assess County technology capabilities, needs, risks, and opportunities and develop practical strategies that align technology investments with business and public-service objectives. The role may support technology analysis, network services, modernization planning, governance, and implementation roadmaps.

Key Deliverables:

- Assess technology architecture, applications, infrastructure, networks, data, security, and support models.
- Translate agency priorities and operational needs into technology strategies and roadmaps.
- Evaluate options, costs, risks, dependencies, and implementation readiness.
- Develop governance, investment prioritization, sourcing, and operating-model recommendations.
- Facilitate workshops with business leaders, technical teams, and vendors.
- Identify applicable standards, regulations, policies, and technical constraints.
- Prepare business cases, executive briefings, and procurement-support documentation.
- Support implementation oversight, quality reviews, and benefits measurement.

Required Skills:
\n

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of IT strategy, enterprise architecture, technology consulting, or IT leadership experience.
- Broad knowledge of infrastructure, applications, cloud, data, cybersecurity, and governance.
- Experience developing multi-year roadmaps and investment recommendations.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder facilitation skills.

Desired/ Preferred Skills and Experience:

- TOGAF, ITIL, PMP, cloud, security, or comparable certification.
- Government or public-sector technology consulting experience.
- Experience with network modernization, ERP/EAM, or digital service delivery.
