Facilities & Maintenance Assistant

Job DescriptionAlchemi and Johnny's Speakeasy are seeking a reliable, hands-on Facilities & Maintenance Assistant to help keep our restaurant and cocktail lounge operating at their best.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in organization and cleanliness, and has basic maintenance and repair skills.
Responsibilities
- Deep cleaning projects
- Ice bin cleaning and sanitation
- Chair, table, and furniture maintenance
- Minor repairs and touch-ups
- Organizing storage areas and supply rooms
- Decluttering and facility improvements
- Light painting and staining projects
- Equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance
- Patio setup and seasonal maintenance
- Assisting with special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Basic hand tool knowledge
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, janitorial, or restaurant experience is a plus
Schedule
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling
- Daytime hours preferred
- Opportunity for additional hours during larger projects
