6–12 Month Contract

Local travel required; 30%+ driving, using your own vehicle

Our direct client is looking for a Systems Engineer to support the design, deployment, integration, and testing of video and wireless communication solutions for mission-critical public safety systems.
\n
\n
What We’re Looking For
\n
- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Video System Integration, or Wireless Communications
- Strong IP networking knowledge: Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS
- Experience with video equipment and Video Management Systems (VMS)
- Experience with outdoor wireless deployments; Cambium Networks is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

- CCNA, Network+, JNCIA, or similar certification
- OSPF, BGP, MPLS, LDP, or other routing experience
- RF / microwave / line-of-sight experience
- Experience supporting public safety or mission-critical communication systems

Additional Requirements:

✔ Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

✔ Must be able to drive to customer sites using your own vehicle
\n
✔ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

✔ Background check required for VPN/VMS access
