Maintenance Coordinator - Part Time

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Coordinator to support the upkeep and appearance of our property. This role includes general maintenance responsibilities with a strong focus on painting, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks (e.g., minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
- Prepare surfaces and complete interior and exterior painting projects
- Patch drywall, sand, prime, and apply paint finishes
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition
- Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with regulations
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred
- Experience with painting (prep, finishing, different surfaces) required
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Physically able to lift up to [e.g., 50 lbs] and perform manual tasks
- Reliable transportation is an asset
Preferred Skills
- Experience in senior living communities is a plus
- Familiarity with safety standards and procedures
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks
