Schedule:

  • Monday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Thursday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM


Position Summary- We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Leasing Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy storage and property management facility. This position combines customer service, office administration, financial oversight, team leadership, facility maintenance coordination, collections management, and auction administration. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who excels at multitasking, maintaining accurate records, ensuring policy compliance, and supporting both customers and staff in a professional environment
Essential Job Duties-

  • Operations Management
    • Oversee day-to-day facility operations and ensure smooth business functions.
    • Monitor occupancy levels and assist with revenue optimization initiatives.
    • Conduct regular facility inspections and security walks.
    • Coordinate facility maintenance needs and vendor services.
    • Manage work orders and track completion of repairs and projects.
    • Maintain accurate facility documentation and records.
  • Auction Administration
    • Manage and verify all auction-related processes for accuracy and compliance.
    • Prepare pre-auction documentation and eligibility reviews.
    • Coordinate unit inventories and auction listings.
    • Process post-auction paperwork and payment postings.
    • Handle auction follow-up activities, including vacated units and buyer move-ins.
    • Resolve issues involving unclaimed units, no-show bidders, and auction discrepancies.
  • Financial & Administrative Duties
    • Review and reconcile daily deposits and banking activities.
    • Process and post customer payments.
    • Monitor recurring billing and automatic payment programs.
    • Review account exceptions, credit adjustments, and refund requests.
    • Track collections accounts and ensure proper procedures are followed.
    • Maintain accurate reports and financial records.
  • Staff Leadership & Training
    • Support hiring and onboarding activities.
    • Train and mentor employees on company policies and procedures.
    • Review audits and implement corrective actions when needed.
    • Manage employee schedules and timecard submissions.
    • Help ensure compliance with company standards and operational procedures.
  • Customer Service
    • Assist customers with account inquiries and resolutions.
    • Review requests for account adjustments and exceptions.
    • Maintain positive customer relationships while enforcing company policies.
    • Handle escalated tenant concerns professionally and effectively.
  • Marketing & Occupancy Support
    • Assist with local marketing efforts and advertising initiatives.
    • Conduct market surveys and monitor competitor activity.
    • Support occupancy growth and customer retention programs.
  • Facility Maintenance & Inventory
    • Monitor office, janitorial, and operational supply levels.
    • Coordinate inventory management and equipment tracking.
    • Assist with light maintenance projects, facility upkeep, and cleanliness.
    • Maintain emergency and safety equipment records.


Requirements-

  • Qualifications Required
    • Previous management, operations, office administration, or property management experience.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, email systems, and business software.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions.
  • Preferred
    • Experience in storage, property management, retail management, banking, hospitality, or similar operational environments.
    • Experience handling cash management, deposits, audits, and collections.
    • Experience supervising employees and managing schedules.
  • Physical Requirements
    • Ability to walk the property regularly and perform routine inspections.
    • Ability to bend, lift, and move items up to 25 pounds.
    • Ability to perform light cleaning and maintenance-related tasks as needed.
    • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
