Position Title: IT Support

Job Type: Contract to Hire
Pay Rate: $30.00 Hour / Range Based on Experience

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance across a variety of hardware, software, and end-user technologies. This position will focus on troubleshooting, equipment deployment, system maintenance, and ensuring reliable day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1/2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and business applications.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows and macOS devices.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access through Active Directory.
- Diagnose basic network connectivity, hardware, and software issues.
- Monitor and resolve support tickets while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Assist with technology upgrades, equipment rollouts, and IT improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Support occasional after-hours needs and other IT-related projects.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in desktop support, IT operations, or a similar technical support role.
- Strong Windows troubleshooting and hardware/software support skills.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience supporting printers, mobile devices, and common business applications.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to changing technical needs.
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed.
