Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Associate based in Ruston, LA, responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of our buildings and properties throughout Lincoln, Union, Ouachita, and Bienville Parishes. This position involves hands-on maintenance work, including repairs, inspections, and preventive upkeep of building systems and exterior grounds. The ideal candidate has experience in property or building maintenance, takes initiative, and is comfortable working independently or with a team.
Note: Pre-employment drug screening is required for this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on building structures and common areas (e.g., lighting, doors, walls, windows, flooring).
- Complete minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks or assist licensed professionals when needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of outdoor property areas including sidewalks and parking lots.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
- Conduct routine inspections of the property, facilities, and systems to identify issues early.
- Operate basic maintenance equipment and power tools safely.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
- Keep maintenance logs and inventory of supplies/tools.
- Setting up chairs and/or tents for company events.
- Setting up and moving office furniture as needed.
- Completing daily courier route between area branches.
- Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of experience in building or property maintenance preferred.
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and follow through on repairs efficiently.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical tasks.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
SCHEDULE & WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Hours are 7:30 am – 2:30 pm Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays.
- Overtime may be required
- Travel is required
- Work performed indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

· Works under the general supervision of the Administration Manager.
