This confidential client is developing advanced communications and computing solutions for next-generation infrastructure markets. The company is entering a critical growth phase and is seeking an experienced technical leader to establish and scale its System Validation & Test (SVT) function.
This is a highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to shape product quality, validation methodology, and organizational capability from the ground up. The position reports directly to a senior technical executive and offers significant influence over product execution, engineering processes, and team development.
Role
- Define and execute the end-to-end system validation and test strategy across complex hardware and software products.
- Translate product and system requirements into measurable validation objectives, performance targets, and test methodologies.
- Develop system-level models, reference platforms, and correlation methodologies to ensure alignment between simulation, characterization, and real-world performance.
- Lead system bring-up, debug, performance optimization, and root-cause analysis across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Establish validation frameworks, coverage metrics, test infrastructure, and best practices to drive product quality and reliability.
Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Optical Communications, Signal Processing, or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of industry experience developing, validating, and commercializing complex communications, networking, semiconductor, or high-performance computing products.
- Proven leadership of coherent DSP system validation, genuinely hands-on in the lab (scope, DCA, AWG, BERT) with automation
- Hands-on technical leadership with a startup mentality is a must for this position
