Job DescriptionMAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR Monday - Friday6:00 am - 2:30 pm $32.00 per hourESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Lead, train, and support a team of maintenance technicians in daily operations and long-term development
- Assign and prioritize work orders based on production needs and equipment urgency
- Ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and meets company standards
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment used in chemical milling, anodizing, fabrication, and painting operations
- Troubleshoot and assist with repairs involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Provide hands-on support for complex or high-priority equipment issues
- Maintain facility systems including HVAC, compressed air, ventilation, and utilities
- Ensure proper operation of exhaust systems, scrubbers, and environmental controls
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve reliability
- Review maintenance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
- Lead equipment installations, upgrades, and improvement projects
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to support operational goals
- Enforce safety procedures including OSHA standards and lockout/tagout practices
- Support safe handling of chemicals and compliance with environmental regulations
- Plan maintenance schedules and coordinate downtime with production teams
- Manage inventory of parts, tools, and maintenance supplies
- Track and report maintenance performance metrics such as downtime and equipment reliability
- Communicate equipment status and maintenance updates with leadership and team members
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Experience leading or supervising a maintenance team
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of industrial systems including motors, controls, pumps, valves, and fluid handling equipment
- Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Comfortable reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and basic computer skills
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical demands
- Ability to lift up to 85 lbs and wear required safety equipment, including a respirator if needed
