Job DescriptionMAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR Monday - Friday6:00 am - 2:30 pm $32.00 per hourESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Lead, train, and support a team of maintenance technicians in daily operations and long-term development
  • Assign and prioritize work orders based on production needs and equipment urgency
  • Ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and meets company standards
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment used in chemical milling, anodizing, fabrication, and painting operations
  • Troubleshoot and assist with repairs involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Provide hands-on support for complex or high-priority equipment issues
  • Maintain facility systems including HVAC, compressed air, ventilation, and utilities
  • Ensure proper operation of exhaust systems, scrubbers, and environmental controls
  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve reliability
  • Review maintenance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
  • Lead equipment installations, upgrades, and improvement projects
  • Coordinate with production and engineering teams to support operational goals
  • Enforce safety procedures including OSHA standards and lockout/tagout practices
  • Support safe handling of chemicals and compliance with environmental regulations
  • Plan maintenance schedules and coordinate downtime with production teams
  • Manage inventory of parts, tools, and maintenance supplies
  • Track and report maintenance performance metrics such as downtime and equipment reliability
  • Communicate equipment status and maintenance updates with leadership and team members

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Experience leading or supervising a maintenance team
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of industrial systems including motors, controls, pumps, valves, and fluid handling equipment
  • Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Comfortable reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and basic computer skills
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical demands
  • Ability to lift up to 85 lbs and wear required safety equipment, including a respirator if needed
