Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery, conveyor systems, motors, and electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals.
- Repair or replace defective components using hand tools and precision instruments.
- Support equipment fabrication and maintenance documentation.
- Follow safety procedures, including PPE and dedicated equipment requirements in gluten-free production areas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
- Food manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including high- and low-voltage systems.
- Knowledge of PLCs, servo motors, and industrial machinery.
- Industrial maintenance certification preferred.
- Welding experience with mild steel and stainless steel is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
