Job Description We are currently hiring for a Janitorial Custodian position at the Naples Airport. Please review the details below:
Position Details:
- Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
- Schedule: Monday to Sunday, 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM
- Location: Naples Airport
- Type: Temp-to-Perm (12-month period with the opportunity to transition to full-time employment)
Position Summary:
The Custodian performs routine cleaning and custodial services throughout assigned airport facilities and surrounding exterior areas to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain terminal spaces, offices, restrooms, and public areas.
- Maintain sidewalks, entrances, curbsides, and outdoor trash receptacles.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize surfaces, and restock supplies.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns, spills, and safety hazards.
- Safely operate custodial equipment and handle cleaning chemicals.
- Adhere to all airport security and safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Prior commercial or institutional custodial experience is preferred.
- Ability to pass all required background checks and drug screenings.
- Ability to perform physical activities (standing, bending, lifting) and work both indoors and outdoors.
