\nQUALITY ASSURANCE REPRESENTATIVE III\n
\n

\n
\nTrained and Qualified in Nondestructive Testing Level II (Visual, Liquid Penetrant and Magnetic Particle Inspection) with 3+ years' direct experience in U.S. Navy shipboard/Submarine NDT Inspections.\n
\nDevelops QA Workbooks with Test and Inspection Plans. Computer skills in Work and Excel required.\n
\n
\nPerforms a variety of quality control tests/inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc. at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards.\n
\n
\nRecords and analyzes data and writes summaries and reports to validate or show deviations from existing standards.\n
\n
\nWorks closely with management to ensure adherence to ISO standards and NAVSEA Standard Items.\n
\n
\nRecommends modifications to existing, or suggests new, standards, methods, and procedures.\n
\n
\nMaintains appropriate documentation related to quality assurance tests and inspections.\n
\n
\nProvides quality training.\n
\n
\nMay provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.\n
\n
\nGuides and directs employees in quality improvement efforts.\n
\n
\nParticipates in special projects as required.\n
\n
\nElectrical Cableway and Connector knowledge a plus.\n
\n
\nMay require professional, technical, or company certification(s), depending on job assignment.\n
\n
\nSome travel may be required depending on task.\n
\n
\nKnowledge in welding, welding processes, and Welder Qualification is a plus.\n
\n
\n25 - 50% or travel required\n
\n
\nRequires HS diploma/GED; 3+ years of direct experience\n
\n
\nRequires Non Destructive Testing Level II certification for Visual Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing, and Magnetic Particle Testing\n

\nThe likely hourly rate for this position is between $30.60 - $41.40. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.\n
