Job DescriptionCDR Works is seeking a Technical Process & Quality Analyst near Whitsett, NC 27377. This specialized role focuses on the analysis, optimization, and documentation of complex manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and New Product Introduction (NPI). The position requires technical education and strong problem-solving skills.The main objective is to improve production efficiency using industrial engineering methods, support testing processes, and manage NPI from concept to full production. The role also involves supporting resource planning, labor requirements, and tooling design for manufacturing.
Job Details

- Pay Rate: $21 per hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4–5 days per week, 10 hours per day
Key Responsibilities
- Introduce new products (NPI) and manage transition to mass production
- Act as liaison between engineering and operations
- Conduct process and quality audits on production lines
- Perform visual and physical inspections for product quality
- Analyze samples and conduct time & motion studies for efficiency improvement
- Prepare and update process documentation (LOB, procedures, SFC, training, layouts) using AutoCAD
- Manage BOM (Bill of Materials) and Engineering Change (EC) data using SAP
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma tools
- Develop corrective action plans and perform root cause analysis (Fishbone, FMEA, 8D)
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 2–3 years of relevant experience (recent graduates may apply)
- Python scripting knowledge is a plus
- Ability to use basic tools (screwdriver, pen drill, etc.)
- Knowledge of quality tools (PDCA, FMEA, 8D)
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Yellow or Green Belt preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Strong attention to detail
