2nd Street Maintenance Supervisor
Department: Plant Maintenance
Position: 2nd Shift Maintenance Shift Supervisor
Job Duties:
- Ability to supervise maintenance staff on shift.
- Ability to be a strong leader of a small group of people.
- Ability to work in Microsoft word and excel spreadsheets.
- Maintain cost effective practices that are compliant with quality, policies and procedures.
- Plan and schedule shift needs; utilizing employees, equipment and material in order to obtain quality products.
- Assign maintenance employees to jobs and instruct them in the proper procedures that will ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Ensure plant safety by overseeing general working conditions.
- Ensure that all personnel are properly trained and have a full understanding of the processes they are involved in.
- Ensure that all personnel have a complete and full understanding of plant good manufacturing practices and HACCP programs.
- Ensure that all personnel have good communication skills with the ability to communicate to other departments.
- Ability to work with Quality Assurance and USDA.
- Ensure that all personnel support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of electronics, motors, machinery, scales, freezers, among other maintenance related parts and equipment.
