Location: Peachtree City, GA (30269)
Duration: 9 months Contract with Possible extension
Pay Rate: $27 an hour in W2
US Citizenship or Green Card Required
Job Summary:
Seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform general building maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and facility systems while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform general facility repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
- Coordinate with maintenance contractors and service providers.
- Patch and paint walls, replace ceiling tiles and light bulbs.
- Set up conference rooms and install office fixtures such as TVs and whiteboards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of facility or building maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with hand and power tools; welding and forklift experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Technical certification in a maintenance-related field.
- Forklift certification and welding experience.
