Would you like to gain experience in the biotech/life sciences industry? This company owns and manages properties throughout the bay area and has a team-driven environment. This owner-manager also has a non-profit division and is also very involved in fundraising and community service. Access to Shuttle services to BART, Caltrain, and SF.
This Property Manager will be working in Menlo Park and will be responsible for day-to-day duties including tenant management, lease administration, accounting, and overseeing the property management team including maintenance staff. Benefits include 100% paid medical, dental, and vision for the employee, a discretionary bonus, and three weeks of paid vacation. Room to grow into a Senior Property Manager role!
Duties Include:
Preparing financial reports
Supporting leasing team with marketing and lease negotiations
Supporting tenant relations program and ensures tenant services
Overseeing corporate shuttle program
Overseeing lease signage and update tenant directories
Assisting with tenant amenities program
Scheduling inspections
Preparing annual budgets and year-end reconciliations, processing CAM reconciliations
Managing building operating costs
Supervising fire/life safety and preventative maintenance
Reviewing contracts and approving vendors including reviewing bids
Training and managing building staff
Performing staff evaluations
Coordinating with the legal department
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree or equivalent or equivalent experience
At least 3 years of experience in the commercial property management field
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Real estate license is a plus!
