Job DescriptionJob Title: Maintenance SupervisorLocation: Minneapolis, MNHire Type: Direct HirePay Range: $75,000 - $120,000Work Type: Full-timeWork Model: OnsiteWork Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am – 5pmRecruiter Contact: Sean Pebbles | 716-256-1259 | spebbles@imaginestaffing.netNature & Scope:Positional OverviewThe Imagine Group is recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor on behalf of our client, one of the largest medical device contract development and manufacturing organizations in the world, serving the cardiac rhythm management, neuromodulation, and cardio and vascular markets in Minneapolis, MN.In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating facility and maintenance activities (excluding operations maintenance), including staffing, equipment, processes and structures, in a reliable and efficient manner minimizing interruption to production to support corporate goals.Role & Responsibility:Tasks That Will Lead to Your Success
- Adheres to company values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
- Defines and coordinates all facilities/maintenance activities to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Coordinates new facility construction and renovation/upgrades to existing facilities. Assist in the preparation of
- appropriate paperwork submission (CAR) for these projects and monitors projects’ progress.
- Coordinates and oversees the work of contractors to assure schedules are met and work is completed
- according to specifications and in adherence to appropriate safety procedures.
- Coordinates with EHSS representatives’ activities related to fire/security systems, weekend staffing, holiday walk-through and call-ins on off hours.
- Executes preventive maintenance programs to ensure facility operations are not interrupted.
- Analyzes space utilization and recommends and administrates effective changes as required.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Approves time sheets and Associates time off requests to ensure the department is adequately staffed
- Manages staff(s); performance, development and training process to ensure a highly skilled and engaged workforce
- Responsible for the review and communication of annual performance reviews
Skills & ExperienceQualifications That Will Help You Thrive
- High School Graduate; with some appropriate post-secondary education, relating to
the Maintenance field. - 5+ years in a Technical or Maintenance position at a manufacturing facility.
