What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

Perform preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, equipment, and facility assets

Inspect facilities, equipment, and racking systems to identify and address maintenance concerns

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
-
Complete general building repairs, including carpentry and minor facility improvements
-
Conduct monthly fire extinguisher inspections and maintain required documentation
-
Maintain accurate maintenance records, including repairs, inspections, and parts usage
-
Ensure Safety Data Sheets (SDS) remain current and accessible
-
Track inventory and replenish maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts
-
Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required
-
Respond quickly and effectively to emergency maintenance situations
-
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements

Perform additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
-
Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or commercial environment
-
Proven forklift operating experience

Ability to successfully complete company forklift certification upon hire
-
Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair practices
-
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
-
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
-
Knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatic systems, and electrical safety circuits
-
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
-
Effective verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications

Technical degree, trade school certification, or related training
-
Experience working in a manufacturing or high-speed production environment
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:

Stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and move throughout the workday

Frequently lift up to 55 pounds

Work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions

Safely use maintenance equipment and tools

Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Work around noise, chemicals, and airborne particles commonly found in industrial environments
