As an Application & Technical Support Engineer, you’ll sit at the heart of customer success—bridging Sales, Engineering, Product, and Safety Services.
You’ll help customers solve real-world challenges, from early specification through to long-term operation—ensuring the systems designed to keep people safe perform exactly as they should.
With exposure to emerging technologies like IO-Link Safety and advanced electrical solutions, this role offers genuine progression into Sales, Product Management, or technical leadership.
🔧 What you’ll be doing
- Building deep expertise in industrial safety products, applications, and standards
- Supporting customers through technical troubleshooting, installation guidance, and application advice
- Owning customer interactions via inbox and phone, ensuring a high-quality, responsive experience
- Partnering with Sales to help customers specify and integrate solutions
- Investigating and resolving complex technical queries
- Supporting webinars, tradeshows, and customer training
- Travelling to customer sites to troubleshoot and resolve issues in real-world environments
- Capturing customer feedback to help shape future product innovation
✅ What we’re looking for
- 1–3 years’ experience in technical support, field service, or engineering
- Exposure to PLCs, HMIs, industrial automation, or safety systems
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
- Confident communicator—comfortable working directly with customers
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams
- Engineering degree (or equivalent experience welcomed)
- Electrical or machinery safety knowledge (beneficial)
