What You'll Be Doing

As a BIM Modeler, you'll play a critical role in bringing projects to life through intelligent modeling, coordination, and technical excellence.

You'll:

  • Develop and maintain BIM models that support the successful delivery of projects.
  • Create and manage project BIM documentation, standards, and model content.
  • Ensure models are accurate, organized, and aligned with company BIM standards.
  • Perform model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks.
  • Generate project deliverables including drawings, schedules, and model exports.
  • Collaborate with project teams to improve efficiency, communication, and design quality.
  • Support project teams by providing technical BIM guidance and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Help drive continuous improvement of BIM workflows and best practices.

What You BringRequired

  • At least 1 year of Autodesk Revit experience
  • Experience working with BIM models and project documentation
  • Experience with AutoCAD and related CAD software
  • Familiarity with Navisworks and model coordination workflows
  • Understanding of ANSI drafting standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Preferred

  • Degree in Computer-Aided Drafting, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience within the electrical industry
  • Knowledge of electrical design practices
  • Previous experience supporting BIM training or workflow improvement initiatives

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gastonia, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $48.08/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
