What You'll Be Doing
As a BIM Modeler, you'll play a critical role in bringing projects to life through intelligent modeling, coordination, and technical excellence.
You'll:
- Develop and maintain BIM models that support the successful delivery of projects.
- Create and manage project BIM documentation, standards, and model content.
- Ensure models are accurate, organized, and aligned with company BIM standards.
- Perform model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks.
- Generate project deliverables including drawings, schedules, and model exports.
- Collaborate with project teams to improve efficiency, communication, and design quality.
- Support project teams by providing technical BIM guidance and troubleshooting assistance.
- Help drive continuous improvement of BIM workflows and best practices.

What You BringRequired
- At least 1 year of Autodesk Revit experience
- Experience working with BIM models and project documentation
- Experience with AutoCAD and related CAD software
- Familiarity with Navisworks and model coordination workflows
- Understanding of ANSI drafting standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Preferred
- Degree in Computer-Aided Drafting, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience within the electrical industry
- Knowledge of electrical design practices
- Previous experience supporting BIM training or workflow improvement initiatives

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gastonia, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $48.08/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
