Network Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy secure networks, including restricted networks and inter-domain/enclave connectivity.

\n

• Build and manage cloud networking infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar platforms.

\n

• Configure and troubleshoot multicast UDP and broadcast UDP traffic.

\n

• Deploy and maintain software-defined and hardware-based networking solutions.

\n

• Integrate network services with Kubernetes using CNI plugins and container networking.

\n

• Connect cloud environments with on-premise data centers and support hybrid-cloud architectures.

\n

• Automate network provisioning using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

\n

• Implement network monitoring, logging, and alerting.

\n

• Collaborate with security, DevOps, and application teams.

\n

• Develop technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-base materials.

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• 5+ years of professional networking experience.

\n

• Experience designing and securing restricted/compliant networks.

\n

• Hands-on experience with cloud networking services such as VPCs, VNets, peering, and transit gateways.

\n

• Linux experience.

\n

• Practical knowledge of multicast UDP and broadcast UDP.

\n

• Experience with both software-defined and hardware-defined networking.

\n

• Direct experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting Kubernetes networking.

\n

• Experience creating and managing secure routing between isolated domains or enclaves.

\n

• Active Secret clearance.

\n

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
